commission: Helena

A $25 (elaborated character sketch) commission for xDeadbrainx of his character, Helena.

A snippet of info about her goes as following:
"Helena Angramm is a queen in training. Chosen as a possible successor to the current Queen (along with nine other girls), she has been gifted with a small fortune and a noble status.  As a member of the higher caste of her insect-like people, she was expected to uphold the old traditions by partaking in the bloody, survivalistic race for the throne. However, she was not eager to follow the example of her (deceased) rivals and instead opted to choose a laid-back life away from the court's schemes. As a result, Helena has no problem socializing with the lower caste of workers and clerks, despite the physical and economical differences between herself and the majority of her race.
Despite her intimidating looks and short temper, Helena's pretty lazy and benevolent (and also is quite a couch potato) and is more approachable than she appears. Her blunt attitude goes hand-in-hand with sarcasm, sharp wit and egalitarian approach to everyone around her. She's surprisingly good at finding common language with all kinds of people and thus is considered quite a weirdo in the upper society.
However, her ways have left her without social life outside of court-related duties, and she leads her life inside her castle with her two companions, Raz'Ubok and Zeh'Suong, whom she picked as her bodyguards back when she was still young. It was a scandal - her own race is insectoid and lives in a massive swamp habitat, while those two are members of a volcanic tribe that was originally human but has been interbreeding with fire spirits from the sentient volcano that gives shelter to their villages. With time, the trio became best friends and lovers, and are an unstoppable power whenever the situation calls for it."
